On the job front: I had the two interviews, one with Corrective Services and one with Planning and Infrastructure, missed out on both. However I was to start a job at the Curtin University, when I had a call from a Manager at Corrective Services offering me a short term position, my name was passed on from the position I missed out on and he was advised I would be very suitable, so I refused the Curtin job and took this one!

I have been there for 2 weeks and am very happy, they offered me another 6 months in another position, which I will take up, and of course in the meantime, another job with Conservation and Environment has come up for this Wednesday, I think I will stick with the Corrective Services at this point. Thanks again for your help

Just to let you know I have been contacted by the Cloverdale P.S. ESC Principal after I dropped my resume into her office last week and she is very interested in engaging me at the centre. She was impressed by the resume and on first meeting me so it is looking very favourable. So the next thing I need to do is just make sure I know when the vacancy occurs and then get my selection criteria submitted and “I’m in like Flynn” so they say !!!
